A&f Galleria Mall, Roseville,ca

poem by Bertolt. BRECHT

a beloved song

1. I know, dear, now I drop my wild hair, and I lie on the stones. You see me drinking rum másbarato, and walked naked to the wind.

2. But there was a time, dear, that was pure.

3. I had a woman who was stronger than me, like grass

is stronger than the bull gets a lift.

4. She saw that I was wrong, and I loved it.

5. Do not ask where he drove the road, which was his way

and perhaps going down. When he gave me his body, said

that's it. And it was my body.
6. Now there's nowhere, disappeared as a

cloud when it rained, the left and fell, for that was his way.

7. But at night, sometimes when you see me drinking, I see your face,

pale in the wind, strong and turned towards me, and I bow to

the wind.
