A Federico García Lorca ...

There are dead with the living souls like hitting

dawn as he plays the old
door of the house of a friend forgotten.
Birds sing
to hide the dirt of every moment.
I do not know because your death at daybreak
afternoon must have been in fights.
Under the green sheet your eyes gravitate
and soul that haunts you.
do not know why, and I think I will never know
your verses
grenade wound up pretty well with that resemble the dead to the living.
transitional ideas of war and bad
hours over your death as postcards used.
Yours must have been in later fights,
and not mine, terrapin
dawn.
