Dear Friend, hesitated to write this letter, but a recent development has encouraged me to finally do it and I love to read it.

Last night, 28/Dic/2010, just finished my yoga session, I sat for a moment to see one of the few television channels that I taste even allows me to bear. This is CNN +, a news channel. Just then passed the final minutes of programming and before my astonished eyes, as already announced other means, the channel went off the air and became Big Brother 24 hours. " Words fail ...

Unfortunately there are many people who barricaded behind major corporations, powers and institutions are determined to continue mackerel. These elements are spread, under the support of a large economic control, have the ability to be well organized, so they can handle, creating a reality and values \u200b\u200bthat permeate daily life. In this way these ideas begin to form part of our lives and at the same time seem to give a great importance as individuals, reinforcing the sense of self in the background do not get to isolate, impoverish and away from those values \u200b\u200bthat truly enrich our life in its deepest sense, education, culture, self-awareness, social justice, environmental stewardship, art with a capital ... and fundamental, goodness as a principle of respect among all.

Dear friends, this year I learned several things. And yesterday, a symbol of the times, I am encouraged to count. I understand if any more than I ever imagined and I want to share. It's something that probably many you already know but I can not help proclaim from the rooftops in case anyone needs to remember. Very briefly.

In the summer of 2010 driving my car on a bypass road to Madrid to address the Ecovillage Valdepiélagos, suddenly began to feel sick, my heart raced in the extreme, burned my chest, arms fall asleep, my back is bent, the mind is clouded like my look, and above all this, my desire is focused on the vehicle away to the roadside.

My first thought, before losing consciousness, is that I was having a heart, so stunned disbelief and asked me, as someone young, healthy, yoga practitioner, vegetarian and a more or less peaceful could be in such a trance. The next thought was the desire to create an accident, so as I could, and now with the car in a safe place, I happened to turn on hazard warning lights. Such was my discomfort that I could not get mobile phone and less talk. All expect the worst, so with a rare sense of helplessness on the edge of that road I started to surrender to the unexpected moment of death.

Then again I found something unexpected in a state of semi-consciousness, a talk, a speech, a lucid presentation was generated in making me forget my thoughts like trance. This "speech" was nothing new, and had heard, read or thought, but charged on my mind a new and profound meaning. We report that shortly after, and once past those moments, I could write:

"All beings human search for happiness. Some believe found in the exercise of power, dominance, the obsession with security and control, while others identified (in a clear conflict of identity) with their property, money, houses, cars, jewelry, clothes and other belongings, others identify with their knowledge, their skills or talents, or maybe looking for love collecting fame, consideration of others, recognition of the neighbor, the friend, family, coworkers or the rest of humanity .. . almost everything that enslaves us. What we have and we have no such possible final.

"There is no way to happiness, happiness is way. It is a state of your mind, nurture them with large doses of kindness and inner joy. Forgive and forget the offense, resentment produces a harmful energy field.

-use intelligence and creativity, look like much of the good that surrounds you and makes you more comfortable life has emerged from a creative mind. What could be more revolution?

"Do not let a second of bad mood, while the world crumbles around you, stay calm. That you will not feel bad that nothing changes, or that you be more effective, or that nobody will be happier.

-Live connected to your essence, which is the same essentially dormant in all creatures. Feel in harmony with all human beings, animals, plants, water, earth, sun, moon and all stars.

-offers the best of you, if you want to helping the world thinks and acts positively, expecting nothing in return. Enjoy the privilege of giving and sharing, the more we give more is in our hearts. That is true love, and who knows love is happy.

"Enjoy every moment, life is too short, time is eternal, our way in the world is unimaginably short.

Ah! I never heard of that trance after a thorough medical check found nothing strange or knew how to explain it.
